The SLMA is the oldest professional medical association in Asia and Australasia with a history dating from 1887 with the then 'The Ceylon Branch of The British Medical Association' finally evolving into the 'S

This techincal brief highlights the need to integrate health sector preparedness into Sri Lanka's Disaster Risk Management Framework and recommends renewed focus on disaster and climate resilient health infrastructure.
