We are delighted to share that the 4th Official Club Visit of the Region Chairperson was successfully held on 31st November 2025 at Sujani Restaurant, under District 306 D6 – Region 4A.

This special visit was hosted by the Lions Club of Athurugiriya, the Current Governor’s Club, with the presence of dedicated Lions members and leaders. The evening was filled with fellowship, inspiration, and a shared commitment to serving our communities with excellence.

A Memorable Moment for Region Chairperson Lion Nalin Jayasundara MAF🦁💛

It was a truly special occasion as Region Chairperson Lion Nalin Jayasundara of Lions International District 306 D6 made his official visit to his mother club — Lions Club of Colombo Excellence.

The visit was held on 25th October at Sujani Restaurant, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere filled with fellowship and pride. For Lion Nalin, this was more than just an official club visit — it was a heartfelt homecoming to the club where his Lions journey began.

What made the moment even more memorable was the presence of his beloved family, sharing in his joy and celebrating his achievements together with his fellow Lions.

The Lions Club of Colombo Excellence extended a warm welcome to their distinguished member and Region Chairperson, reflecting the true spirit of unity and friendship that defines Lionism.

Region Chairperson’s 1st Official Club Visit – LC Oruwala 🦁

Region 4A commenced its official club visits with great energy and enthusiasm as Region Chairperson Lion Nalin Jayasundara PMAF made his first visit to Lions Club of Oruwala on 17th October 2025, at the Lions Activity Center, Battaramulla.

The visit was a vibrant celebration of service, fellowship, and the true spirit of Lionism. LC Oruwala proudly showcased their impactful community projects and ongoing initiatives, reflecting their strong commitment to serving those in need.

Lion Nalin Jayasundara PMAF commended the club for its outstanding efforts and encouraged the members to continue their inspiring journey of service with innovation and unity. His presence added motivation and direction as Region 4A sets the tone for a purposeful year ahead.

The Lions District Family Get-Together 2025 at NCC Grounds was truly a day to remember – full of fellowship, fun, and the true spirit of Lionism. 🙌💛

A special highlight for us in Region 4A – we proudly emerged as the Grand Winners of the D6 Cricket Tournament 🏆 after several years! This victory was made possible through the inspiring leadership of our Region Chairperson, Lion Nalin Jayasundara PMAF. 👏🔥

Lions International District D6 – Region 4A Action Meeting

On 14th September 2025, the Region 4A Action Meeting of Lions International District D6 was successfully held at the Lions Activity Centre, Kaduwela.

The meeting brought together Region 4A clubs, key leaders, and dedicated members to review ongoing initiatives, strengthen collaboration, and align with the District’s vision for impactful service.

This gathering not only highlighted the remarkable projects carried out by our clubs but also emphasized the importance of teamwork, reporting, and collective pride in the humanitarian mission of Lions.

A sincere appreciation goes out to all club leaders, officers, and members who participated and contributed to making the Region 4A Action Meeting a meaningful and productive event. Together, we continue to serve with passion and excellence.

As the Club Program Evaluator (CPE) of Region 4A, Lion Thisara Kukulewithana PMAF successfully organized a CMS Workshop for the Key Club Officers of Region 4A.

This important initiative was designed to uplift and strengthen reporting standards, ensuring greater accuracy, efficiency, and excellence in club administration across the region.

The 1st Zonal Advisory Meeting of District 306 D6, Region 4A – Zones 1 & 2, was successfully organized under the joint leadership of Zone Chairperson Lion Nalin Kariyawasam and Zone Chairperson Lion Hiulate Jayaweera.

This important gathering served as a platform to review progress, share insights, and strengthen unity among clubs, paving the way for impactful service projects in the year ahead.
