The latest member engagement event organized by the Membership Development Pillar of the Women’s Chamber of Industry and Commerce (WCIC) was held on the 25th of May under the theme "The Wellness Weave". Keeping in line with the theme, the discussions at the event were centered around maintaining physical wellbeing.

Membership Development Pillar Lead, Nilani Seneviratne welcomed the participants and the Chairperson WCIC, Gayani De Alwis FCILT shared opening remarks at the event.

A key aspect of the evening was that both speakers at the event were WCIC members; Dr Arunie Malwatte who is specialised in Clinical Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine shared valuable insights on the topic "The Longevity Formula - Blueprint for Lifelong Health". She spoke about the impact of Lifestyle Medicine and the benefits. Further she shared tips on improving lifestyle to control Non Communicable Diseases.
The second speaker, Vidhya Baskaran, who is a Physiotherapist and a Healthy Living Coach shared valuable insights on physical movement and maintaining balance for any age group, under the theme "Age Strong - Not just old".

Both speakers received undivided attention from the audience which was quite evident by the highly interactive participation. The evening concluded with further interaction with the speakers and networking.
