The Certificate Awarding Ceremony of the National-Level Environmental Day Quiz Competition 2026 was successfully held in Vavuniya, bringing together some of the competition’s top achievers to celebrate their commitment to environmental awareness and conservation. 🎉🌱

🇱🇰 Conducted across 13 examination centres throughout Sri Lanka, the competition was offered in Tamil, Sinhala and English, welcoming participants from different age groups and communities.

🌿 More than a traditional knowledge-based quiz, this initiative focused on practical environmental awareness and everyday choices, encouraging participants to think about how we manage waste, conserve water, protect biodiversity and make environmentally responsible decisions in our daily lives.

💚 Because environmental conservation is not just about what we know, it is about how we live, the choices we make, and the actions we take to protect our planet.

👏 Congratulations to all the achievers, and heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to making this island-wide initiative a success!

🌱 Building environmental awareness. Inspiring responsible choices. Creating a sustainable future.
