Skill education becomes meaningful when students can see it, experience it and try it for themselves.
With this belief, Lend A Hand India, in collaboration with
Billennium India Pvt ltd., has launched Karigar Express - an initiative that enables government schools to bring their students to Karigar - School of Applied Learning for immersive, hands-on exposure to vocational skills.
The idea is simple: remove the access barrier. Schools can use Karigar Express to give students the opportunity to explore different skills, work with their hands and discover possibilities they may not otherwise encounter.
And before supporting students to learn by doing, the Billennium team experienced it themselves.
During a recent visit to Karigar, Billennium employees explored the facility and participated in hands-on activities across the Electrical, Gardening, Food and Engineering labs alongside students and Karigar trainers.
This is what meaningful partnership can look like - not just supporting skill education, but experiencing it, understanding its potential and helping make it accessible to more young people.
