Every child deserves a childhood where they feel safe, cared for, and free to dream. 💚

For children growing up in Pune’s red-light areas, childhood can come with challenges no child should have to face. They can be exposed to poverty, violence, exploitation, and limited access to education and healthcare.
Since 1997, Swadhar IDWC’s Project Mohor has been working to change that.
Mohor provides children with a safe and caring environment, along with education, nutritious food, healthcare, counselling, and opportunities to learn, explore and grow.

But Mohor is about more than providing shelter.
It is about giving a child the comfort of feeling safe.
The confidence to believe in themselves.
And the opportunity to imagine a future beyond their circumstances.
