Mumbai में तरबूज़ खाना बना जानलेवा, एक ही परिवार के 4 लोगों की मौत
मुंबई के पायधुनी इलाके में फ़ूड पॉइज़निंग से एक ही परिवार के चार सदस्यों की मौत हो गई। मृतकों की पहचान अब्दुल्ला डोकडिया (40), नसरीन डोकडिया (35) और उनकी बेटियों आयशा (16) व ज़ैनब (13) के रूप में हुई है। परिवार ने बिरयानी खाने के बाद तरबूज़ खाया था, जिसके बाद हालत बिगड़ गई। पुलिस ने बताया कि मौत का सही कारण पोस्टमॉर्टम रिपोर्ट आने के बाद ही स्पष्ट होगा।

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has directed food business operators to ensure that only Ashwagandha's roots and its extract are used in their products in compliance with prescribed limits.

In an advisory, FSSAI reiterated that the use of Ashwagandha leaves in crude or extract form is not permitted under existing regulations. The Authority further informed that the Ministry of Ayush has also directed manufacturers to restrict usage to only Ashwagandha roots and their extracts.

The food regulatory body has also directed the commissioners of food and safety of all States and Union Territories to maintain strict vigilance and take appropriate action in case of non-compliance.
