She didn’t run away for freedom.
She ran away to survive.
On 21st January 2026, around 8:00 PM, we found Shazia Ahmed (22 years old) on the streets of Mumbai — not alone, but carrying her 7-month-old baby in her arms.
No woman leaves her home with an infant unless the pain inside the house is more dangerous than the world outside.
Shazia had fled from Telangana after facing continuous domestic violence — from her husband, her in-laws, and even her own parents. The beatings, the threats, the fear… it became unbearable. With no support, no money, and nowhere to go, she chose the streets over abuse.
For days, she lived in uncertainty, protecting her child with whatever strength she had left.
When we found her, she wasn’t asking for sympathy.
She was asking for safety.
We immediately contacted her parents. On 23rd January 2026 at 12:10 PM, they travelled from Telangana to Mumbai. After counselling and strict discussion, the girl was safely handed over to her parents, who took full responsibility for both their daughter and her infant child.
But let this be very clear:
⚠️ If even a single harm comes to her again, a strict legal complaint will be filed against the husband, in-laws, and parents.
This is not just one woman’s story.
This is the reality of thousands of women who suffer silently behind closed doors.

No mother risks her child’s life by choice.
She does it when home is no longer safe.
