Every child deserves a home where they feel seen, heard, believed and protected.

Through the campaign, we have reflected on everyday actions that can help parents create that safety and prevent CSA:

▪ See the Signs,
▪ ⁠⁠Accept their ‘No’,
▪ ⁠⁠⁠Understand ‘Fault is never the child’s’
▪ Encourage them to share

This campaign may be coming to a close, but these conversations must continue—in our homes, families and communities.

Because raising children SAFE begins with the choices we make every day.

Some conferences leave you with ideas. Others leave you with connections that could shape what comes next.

At the , the Impact Showcase gave Arpan an opportunity to share our work, impact and vision with people and organisations from across the world.

The conversations went beyond our booth — from meeting people with lived experience of CSA, which brought the purpose of our work into sharper focus, to exploring possibilities for collaboration and partnership.

Here's to turning these connections into meaningful collaborations and stronger collective action for Child Safety.

What makes a child feel safe enough to share openly at home?

It is often the small, everyday actions—listening without judgement, talking about personal safety, respecting their “No", noticing changes and reassuring them that they will be believed and supported.

A safe home is not created through one big conversation. It is built every time a parent pauses, listens and responds with care.

Because when children know they can speak without fear, they are more likely to reach out when something does not feel right.

Encourage them to share. Raise them SAFE.

Tag parents and caregivers in your circle who should be part of this conversation.

When a child shares an unsafe experience, your first response can shape whether they continue seeking help or stop asking for it altogether.

In that moment, children do not need panic, blame or a series of questions. They need to know that they are safe, believed and supported.

Pause. Stay calm. Listen without interrupting. Let them share it at their own pace.

Avoid asking, "Why didn’t you tell me earlier?" or making the child repeat the experience several times.

Create a safe space that will encourage them to share. Raise them SAFE.
