Over two days in Guwahati (22nd & 23rd April), trans and gender-diverse people, alongside community members and allies, came together to make sense of the Transgender Amendment Act, 2026. Meet Prasant from Guwahati, who turned a simple dream into a livelihood journey. With support from Akam Foundation, they started a small food stall near Uzan Bazar, serving litti chokha and momo. Today, the stall is doing well and has become a steady source of income and independence.
