There is always a reason when a child’s performance drops unexpectedly.
One of the most significant factors is when a teacher fails to "catch" or understand the student’s specific needs.

The source suggests that behind every child who fails, there is often a teacher and a mother who have also failed to provide the necessary support.

The truth is, no child actually wants to fail
Every child naturally desires to move forward happily, seeking praise, "shabash," chocolates, and love
They are fully aware that if they do not perform well, they might not receive that affection and appreciation

Because of this, they inherently want to improve and grow

Part 2 of our Kislay event performance! 🎶

After their beautiful performance of “Love You Zindagi,” Udaan children returned to the stage with another powerful song — “Roobaroo” from Rang De Basanti.

With energy, confidence, and passion, the children filled the stage with music and spirit. Moments like these show how exposure to creative platforms helps children express themselves and grow in confidence.

Children from Udaan participated in Kislay, the annual event organized by Prayas Trust on 18 February 2026 at the Larsen & Toubro Campus, Faridabad, under L&T’s CSR initiative.

The event brought together children from several NGOs and schools, providing them a platform to showcase their confidence, creativity, and talents. Udaan children participated enthusiastically and were appreciated for their performances and spirit.

This opportunity was made possible through the ongoing engagement of Prayas Trust with Udaan through their Toy Van and Music Van initiatives, which regularly expose children to experiential learning and music education.

We appreciate the continued collaboration with Prayas Trust, especially Ms. Archana Sharma, Ms. Udhay Kohli, and their team, for supporting learning opportunities that contribute to the holistic development of children.

Tonight, as the fire of Holika rises into the sky,
we are reminded that every flame carries a message.

It tells us that darkness never wins forever.
That fear can be burned.
That obstacles can turn into ashes.

At Udaan, this fire means something more.
It means burning the fear of failure.
Burning the silence that holds children back.
Burning the belief that “this child cannot learn.”

And from those ashes,
we choose to build confidence.
We choose to build courage.
We choose to build education.

For 25 years, Udaan has stood beside children,

Prayas Trust has been consistently working to support children from Udaan and several other NGOs through their innovative Toy Van and Music Van initiatives.

The Toy Van visits Udaan twice a week, offering structured, hands-on experiential learning sessions. Through engaging activities led by trained educators, children strengthen their thinking skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities in an interactive environment.

The Music Van, equipped with a mobile music studio and skilled instructors, introduces children to rhythm, melody, singing, and recording. Regular sessions have helped build confidence, while also providing focused development for 15 particularly enthusiastic and talented learners.

In January 2026, a two-week Winter Camp was conducted for Udaan children, aimed at enhancing mental agility, creativity, and overall confidence.

On 18th February 2026, children from Udaan participated in Kislay, the annual event organized at the Larsen & Toubro Campus, Faridabad, under L&T’s CSR initiative. The children showcased their confidence and skills with enthusiasm and received encouraging appreciation.

Mrs. Archana Sharma, Head of the Faridabad Unit, addressed the children from various NGOs and schools, encouraging them to remain connected to their culture and values while continuing to grow and learn.

Such platforms provide valuable exposure and contribute meaningfully to the holistic development of children.

As we step into 2026, we look back with full hearts.
25 years of Udaan — a journey built not on ease, but on belief.

There were years of uncertainty, limited resources, closed doors, and moments when continuing felt difficult.
But every struggle taught us resilience.
Every challenge strengthened our purpose.
And every child’s smile reminded us why we began.

2025 became a life-changing year for Udaan.
It tested us, reshaped us, and pushed us to rebuild — stronger, more grounded, and more determined than ever.
What once felt like obstacles turned into new beginnings.

As we move into 2026, our promise remains the same:
to keep showing up for children,
to keep creating spaces of learning, care, and hope,
and to keep working until every child gets the childhood they deserve.

Thank you to everyone who stood with us through every high and low —
our children, teachers, volunteers, partners, and supporters.
