For many women in rural communities, a nearby source of clean water can save up to 35 minutes every day that would otherwise be spent collecting water.

Over the course of a year, that time adds up to 27 extra days that can be invested in caring for family, pursuing education, earning an income, or exploring new opportunities. Access to safe water doesn't just improve health. It creates time, dignity, and the chance for a better future.

Through World Vision India's safe water, sanitation, and hygiene initiatives, 408,000 lives were transformed, helping families build healthier and more resilient communities.
