Please vote for Anant Acharya (9th photo), our very own Organ Donation Ambassador, TRIOMPH member and kidney recipient who has been raising awareness about organ donation, since many editions of TCS 10K marathon. He is dressed up as Lord Ganesha - our favourite God who was beneficiary of a head transplant 😊
*Let us all vote for him and raise awareness*

🌟 March 2026 — A Month of Compassion in Action

In March 2026, our team of dedicated tele-counsellors answered 1,500 calls — each one a family seeking guidance, comfort, or courage in a difficult moment.

Speaking in 8 Indian languages, they walked alongside grieving families and helped facilitate 20 cornea donations and 2 body donations — gifts that will restore sight, advance medicine, and bring hope to countless lives.

From Rohtak to Pathanamthitta, from Lucknow to Chennai — the map of compassion is growing. 🗺️💚

A heartfelt salute to our Star Counsellors of March — Arshiya, Dr. Hemal, Sanchit, Bhanu, Neha, Kavitha, Simran, and every voice on the line. 🙏

For Transplant Hospitals, Transplant Coordinators, and Healthcare Professionals in Transplantation

Supporting Access to Life-Saving Transplants

In hospitals across the country, transplant teams often encounter patients who are medically ready for a transplant — yet unable to proceed due to financial constraints.

As professionals in the transplant ecosystem, you would have witnessed families who have come this far — with hope, eligibility, and sometimes even a willing donor — but are forced to delay or abandon treatment because of the cost involved.

A second chance at life should not depend on the ability to pay.

With this belief, MOHAN Foundation launched ‘ANUDAAN – Making Transplants Affordable’.

Over the last five years, ANUDAAN has supported 100+ transplants, many of them for young recipients — each one representing a life that could move forward because financial barriers were eased.

What ANUDAAN aims to do:
Support transplants for patients from economically vulnerable backgrounds by bridging the financial gap between diagnosis and transplantation.
What ANUDAAN offers:
✔ Partial financial assistance for transplant procedures
✔ Support mobilised through philanthropy, CSR, and community contributions
✔ Transparent disbursement of funds directly to hospitals

How we can work together:
• Hospitals and coordinators identify patients requiring financial support

• ANUDAAN provides partial assistance after due review
• Government schemes and charitable sources are leveraged
• Institutional support helps bridge the remaining gap
We recognise that your role goes far beyond clinical care — it is rooted in compassion, advocacy, and ensuring that no patient is left behind due to financial barriers.

Through ANUDAAN, we hope to partner with you in ensuring that access to life-saving transplants is not denied due to cost.

We invite you to collaborate with us.

Together, let us ensure that access to transplantation is guided by medical need — not financial capacity.

Activism and art are intimately related when it comes to initiating constructive change. Traditional Rangoli has been used by the MOHAN Foundation to spread awareness of organ donation. See how the Pharmacy, Allied Health Sciences, and Nursing students at ACS Medical College and Hospital created social messages that art naturally conveys using their design, color talents and basic knowledge.
