Club ‘Social Initiative’ Guided Walking Tour

On Tuesday 21st July, our Club ‘Social Initiative’ Committee is organising another guided tour of Sligo Town. With a different route to the previous walk, this tour will be led by an expert History Tour Guide who will provide detailed information on the people/events/landmarks that have shaped Sligo. The discussions will continue after the tour at the Glass House Hotel, with a Q&A and visual / audio presentation.

Date - Tuesday 21st July Time - 6.30 pm
Meeting Place - City Hall (Quay Street)
Post Event Gathering - 8.00 pm(Glass House)

🎉 We Have a Winner! 🎉

Congratulations to Paul Scanlon, who has been elected the new Mayor of Ransboro!

A huge thank you to our four hardworking candidates – Bernie Flynn, Myra McDaniel, Willie Rafter and Paul Scanlon. We could not have got four better people to run for Mayor. Each candidate brought incredible energy, enthusiasm and excitement to the election, making it a fantastic few weeks for our community. Thanks to all the campaign teams who worked tirelessly with their candidates over the weeks coming up with ideas, making signs, organising events, running social media campaigns, the list goes on.

What started as a fundraiser turned into something much bigger. Thanks to your support, we have raised much-needed funds towards our new fence project, and just as importantly, we have seen the incredible community spirit that makes Ransboro such a special place.

To everyone who voted, attended events, donated, shared posts and supported the candidates along the way – thank you. The turnout and support over the past few weeks has been amazing, and it was wonderful to see our community come together in such a positive way.

Congratulations again to Paul, and thank you to everyone who helped make this Mayor of Ransboro election such a memorable success! 👏🎉.

The wait is almost over! Tomorrow night, the new Mayor of Ransboro will be elected.

🗳️ Voting open from 3pm – 10pm in Coolera House
🎉 Final Night kicks off at 8pm until late!

It’s set to be a fantastic night. Come along, support your candidate, enjoy the atmosphere, and see who will be crowned the next Mayor of Ransboro.

A huge thank you to all of our four candidates who have thrown themselves into the campaign, they put in a huge effort, made it fun, entertained us, and helped raise valuable funds for our community. Their effort, enthusiasm and commitment have made this election one to remember.A huge thank you to everyone who has supported this year’s event.
