Congratulations to last week’s winner, Leo Taaffe, Lavally, Ballintogher.
On Friday evening our Division 5 Men's team made the trip to Bunninadden.
The game started off a cagey enough affair and as the half went on it continued to be low scoring. Nevertheless St Michaels went in with a 3 point lead , 0-05 to 0-02.
We got off to a flying start in the second half scoring 1-02 without reply, before Bunninadden hit a goal of there own. The game continued with both teams continuing to exchange scores before St Michaels came out on the winning side, 2-12 to 1-07.

On Sunday afternoon our Division 3 Men's team welcomed Curry to Ballintogher. It was a brilliant day for football, not a breeze to be got and the lads turned on the style. Half way through the first half we led by 0-07 to 0-01, and the lads never let up after this. Half time score of 1-11 to 0-02.
The second half continued in the same line, brilliant performance by the lads with 12 different scorers getting on the board. Final score of 2-24 to 0-06.

A reminder of our midsummer fun walk in aid of North West Hospice which takes place on Sunday June 28th at 9.30am. Refreshments will be served and donations are welcome on the day.
Last Tuesday evening the U14 GSTM Girls played Tourlestrane in the shield semi final. The girls gave a fantastic display of football the evening. They started strong with 3 quick points. Tourlestrane went ahead with a goal and point in quick succession. Scored were exchanged throughout the half with the girls leading by the minimum at half time.
In the second half our girls hit the ground running with a quick goal soon followed by 5 points, running out winners on the evening. Well done to the girls on a great display of football. The Shield final will take place this Monday evening. The girls will play St Mary's away at 7.00pm. Best of luck to the girls and their management team.

Last Friday evening the U12 girls put in a great performance against St Farnan's/ St Pats.
On Monday evening last our U11 Boys travelled to Oxfield for a blitz against Drumcliffe Rosses Point and Calry St Joseph's. They put on a great display and enjoyed the evening. Thanks to Drumcliffe Rosses Point for hosting.
Last Wednesday evening our academy boys and girls were in action. The U9's welcomed Ballymote to Ballintogher. The U7's made the trip to Oxfield to play Drumcliffe Rosses Point.
