The activities of Pulled and our sister project Spilt Milk will converge for a special Culture Night Late event at our studio and the atrium space of the Innovation Centre in ATU Sligo.

Join member artists, Aideen Connolly, Nadia Tamerji and Lorna Watkins for a series of drop-in creative workshops. Get stuck into sticker-making, mono-printing and large-format drawing, with plenty of room to experiment and make your mark.

Sessions run twice in the evening from 7:30pm-8:30pm and 9pm-10pm.

The evening continues til late with music and live visuals where you will also have the opportunity to see our large format collaborative print created during our recent Community Day.

Thank you to everyone who dropped down for our Community Day and put their mark on our big roll of fabric. We used the occasion to also celebrate our 10th birthday.

A big thanks to Pulled member Aideen Connolly Aideen Connolly who kept the ink rolling all day and trained up the next gen of printmakers.

We'll have the roll of fabric on display on Culture Night, when the studios will be open again for drop in creative workshops during Spilt Milk | music and art | Sligo Minor Disturbance.

Our studio is supported by The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon and Sligo Arts Service, our Community Day was produced with a grant from Sligo County Council Community & Voluntary fund

Join us in the studio for some communal printing on Saturday 5th September from 12noon to 3pm, open to artists and the public alike. This large-scale, collaborative printmaking session brings together local artists, printmakers and members of the public around a shared 10-metre roll of fabric. Using a selection of pre-made stencils and block-printing techniques with fabric inks, participants will contribute their own marks, patterns and imagery to create a single evolving piece of artwork.

The session will provide an informal opportunity for local artists and printmakers to connect, experiment and share techniques, while inviting members of the public to try their hand at printmaking in a relaxed, accessible setting. As the fabric is gradually transformed through the contributions of many different hands, the finished work will become a visual record of collective participation and the creative energy of the local community.

This event is free, supported by Sligo County Council Community & Voluntary Grant

With the support of Creative Ireland, we're delighted to once again collaborate with Cranmore Community Coop.

🎬✨ Drawn to the Beat is an exciting animation project for teens in Cranmore, where members of The Wednesday Thing will learn stop-motion and traditional animation techniques to create their own music video. Guided by artist Orla McHardy, participants will explore drawing, collage, paint-on-glass animation, pixilation, storyboarding and digital editing while developing creative, technical and teamwork skills. The finished video will be showcased to the community and screened as part of Spilt Milk Festival 2026, giving young people the opportunity to share their voices through animation and music.

If you know of any young people aged between 13-18 yrs, living in the Cranmore or wider east Sligo town area and is interested in creative fun pass on the word. Registration is via Cranmore Coop

After a few months of fine tuning with our early member guinea pigs we are delighted to be opening up our print membership to all. We have different options to suit a variety of stages in your print life and would love to hear from anyone interested in getting involved.

We’ve been back in the studio for a couple of days after a nice break and now the building has warmed back up we’re looking 👀 for some new faces to be part of Pulled’s next chapter.

Initially we have some individual workspaces available for visual artists and we will follow this up by launching our Open Access membership plans on Friday 🍻

FULL STUDIO WORKSPACE

€100/month, payable by direct debit.

Includes:
– Personal Desk
– 8×4 Wallspace
– 3 Drawer lockable storage cabinet
– 24hr Studio Access
– Access to Book time on print studio equipment 7 days a week in 3hr slots, including evenings and weekends from 10.00am-9.00pm (Subject to completing a Print Induction)

The studio workspaces are in a shared space that is also used for workshops, by Print members for preparatory work and is home to our RISO Machine.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling bases until all spaces have been filled.

We have a very limited number of our Common Pot recipe cards and Tea Towel print available to purchase after our launch last week. They are €10 each. 🍲

We will have reps and tomorrow from 7-8pm if anyone would like to collect one in person. Send us a message here or mail [email protected] if you are interested! 📩

If there are left after tomorrow we will add them to our online shop.
