Dublin City University (DCU) are conducting a research study titled 'Restful Nights, Happy Days', looking at first-time parents experiences of sleep.

Sleep is one of the biggest challenges new parents face, yet many parents report feeling unprepared for the reality and impact of sleep changes after their baby is born.

Dublin City University are inviting expectant first-time mothers and fathers to take part in a pilot of a new online sleep and wellbeing workshop. The workshop aims to prepare first-time parents for changes in infant and parental sleep, while providing practical strategies to support parental sleep and wellbeing during the transition to parenthood.

This project is being led by Dr Anna Donnla O'Hagan and has received full ethical clearance from the Research Ethics Committee at DCU.
