Kevin and Mairead from the Respond Unit had a wonderful day trip to Robin Cottage Farm. Emma and Jim were wonderful hosts. It's well worth a visit.

We are delighted to receive support for St Christopher's from the Abbott Longford Marathon Committee.

The good people at Longford Marathon have donated an amazing sum of c€25,000 from the proceeds of the 2025 Marathon. This will be used to support our service users and will make a significant difference to them. Our sincere thanks to everyone involved in the Marathon.

If you would like to volunteer to help out at the 2026 Marathon you are welcome to attend a volunteers session at 8pm in the Longford Arms Hotel this evening, Monday August 24th at 8pm. All help will be very welcome as this years marathon is nearly completely sold out! It promises to be a great weekend in Longford and we wish everyone involved a successful weekend.

But today if you can make it to McDonalds the wonderful family of our beloved and much missed friend Philip Grey are fundraising for the Kevin Bell Repatriation Fund.

A lovely vibe there with many friends, colleagues and family cycling and sharing happy memories.

We are so proud of Thomas, who won medals in bowling at the Special Olympics Games in Dublin, which took place from 18/06/26 to 21/06/26. 🏅🎳
