Longford Community Games is an independent voluntary organisation, operating in local communities throughout Longford.

We aim to provide opportunities for children and young people aged 6-16 years to develop active healthy lives in a safe environment through experiencing a wide range of sporting and cultural activities. Community spirit and co-operation is fostered and encouraged. Longford Community Games believes that every young person should have the opportunity to take part in sports and art in their local community and grow up understanding how good it makes you feel when you are active and healthy.

📢 Community Games Vetting Event
📆Thursday 5th November
📍 The Mall (Coral Leisure)
🕖 7:00pm – 8:30pm

We’re holding a vetting evening to help volunteers complete and submit their Garda Vetting applications.

✅ Before attending, please ensure you have:
• Your application started online and the NVB1 form printed (2 pages)
• Proof of ID – Passport, Driver’s Licence or National ID Card
• Proof of Address (dated within the last 6 months) – Bank Statement, Utility Bill (not a phone bill), or Government Correspondence

📄 Once your application is started and printed, and you have the required photocopies of your ID and proof of address, the committee can review and sign off your forms before submitting them to Community Games Head Office for processing.

This is an incredible achievement and excellent recognition of Catriona & Mary's contribution to Community Games at local, county and national level.
