💚The Ethnic Minority Hub and Longford Green Earth are inviting you to an Information Sharing and Networking event on Monday, the 29th of January, in The SinBin, at 19:00.
💚The overall theme of the event is Connection and will include a screening of the 'Rights of Nature', a short film produced by the Environmental Justice Network Ireland.
💚There will be a panel discussion about the idea of giving nature rights; people's connection to and disconnection from nature; the importance of forging resilient, connected, and educated communities; and questions/comments from the audience.
💚We are delighted to announce our panellists will be Pádraic Fogarty, Mary Nevin, Hugh Baxter, and Catherine Joseph.
💚Members of the Ethnic Minority Hub will showcase storytelling and art.
💚There will also be ample time for conversation and connection.

Here is the GFS max gusts until Monday.

Some very strong to damaging gusts expected tomorrow! It will be very windy in many areas from tomorrow morning until Monday evening before things settle down from

Tomorrow late afternoon to evening is when we can expect to see the highest gusts from this storm.

This is a big system that will impact the entire island. There is a risk of some upgrades to warnings especially on atlantic coastal counties. We will keep on met eireann to see what they decide.

I would expect a good deal of power outages by tomorrow night around the country!

We can also expected heavy rain with up to 50mm in 24 hours for parts of the South West. Localised flooding possible.

Big waves and storm surge could well lead to coastal flooding also!

Please take care and charge batteries and have emergency numbers ready!
