Mary's Meals aims to provide chronically hungry children with one meal every school day, encouraging education that can lift them out of poverty in later life.

Mary's Meals Longford support the work of Mary's Meals through prayer and fundraising By providing a daily meal in a place of learning, we meet the immediate needs of hungry children and encourage them to go to school to gain an education that can, in the future, be their ladder out of poverty.

In the new short Mary's Meals film RISE: A Liberian Story, we reflect on the difference a school meal can make.

We hear from children, families and communities in Liberia about the challenges they face and the opportunities that become possible when children can receive a nutritious meal in a place of education.

It's a powerful reminder that food is about more than nourishment. It can help children attend school, focus on learning and work towards brighter futures. 🌍📚
