We do provide a Garda Vetting service to volunteer involving organisatons in Longford. 🌍 World Refugee Week Celebrations in Longford.

A community intercultural event is taking place for World Refugee Week on Saturday, 20 June and is open to everyone, focusing on diversity, community building, and inclusion.

Details:

Date: Saturday, 20 June

Time: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Location: Longford Athletics Centre (N39X6X8)

Activities: Storytelling, music, arts & crafts, sports, and community stalls.

Transport: Free buses are running from Granard, Ballymahon, Edgeworthstown, Keenagh, and Lanesborough from 10:00AM.

Refreshments will be provided on-site.

Please note there is no parking available at the venue itself.

Working alongside them at local events, our staff and volunteers see first hand the incredible work they do—and we welcome this opportunity for us all to share our views, experiences, and concerns about safety in our local areas throughout Longford.

We had a brilliant day celebrating volunteering in our community, meeting so many fantastic people, and sharing some incredible opportunities.

A special thanks to all of our wonderful exhibitors who took the time to join us and showcase the vital work they do across Longford every single day. Your energy and support made the event a major success!
