An Garda Siochana Longford and Longford Community Safety Partnership are hosting an Internet Safety Event for Parents / Guardians of children aged between 11 Yrs. – 13 Yrs.
The event will take place on Monday the 25th of May, 2026 @ 7:15pm in Longford Rugby Club.

I would encourage Parents / Guardians and School Staff to attend as it will be a very informative evening with Detective Garda Fran Hoban presenting and discussing the following topics:

• Introduction and role of the Garda National Cyber Crime Bureau
• Children and the Law
• Children online Gaming/Mobile Phones/ Risks
• Common Social Media Platforms
• Children Online
• Mitigating Risks Online
