A facility that provides a creative hub for churches and Christian groups to reach the needs of the community.
2. A vibrant youth drop-in centre.
3. A prayer centre that unites churches and Christians in prayer and worship.

This National Volunteer Week, we want to say a huge THANK YOU to every single volunteer who is helping to make The Light House possible. 💙

Whether you gave your time once, every week, through donations, practical help, prayer, encouragement, or simply by showing up when needed — you have made a difference.

Thank you to those who have volunteered their time in the which is in our building, and our main fundraiser .

We pray The Light House will be a place of welcome, support, hope, and connection for so many people in Kilkenny as we finish our renovations.

We are so grateful for each and every one of you. Thank you for being part of the journey. ✨

Sam’s journey has taken him from a life of violent crime to war-torn Eastern Africa, where he has rescued thousands of children from rebel militias.

👕♻️ Re:Wear – Give Clothes a Second Life ♻️👕

Re:Wear is a youth-led initiative all about reducing waste and rethinking how we use our clothes.

The project encourages the community to donate good-quality items they no longer wear, giving them a second chance through reuse or upcycling—keeping them out of landfill and turning them into something new.

As part of this, the team is hosting a Re:Wear event alongside a mini repair fair, where you can learn simple mending and upcycling skills.

Today we celebrate the life and faith of Saint Patrick — not just as a symbol of Ireland, but as a man whose deep trust in Christ shaped everything he did.

Taken as a slave, he later returned not with anger, but with forgiveness, courage, and a calling to share the love of Jesus. His life was marked by prayer, resilience, and a quiet strength rooted in faith.

The words of “Christ be beside me” echo that same spirit — a reminder that faith isn’t just something we believe, but something we live each day:
in our challenges, in our relationships, and in how we care for others.

May his story inspire us to walk with that same steady faith — knowing Christ is beside us, before us, and within us.
