These awards celebrate organisations across Ireland that demonstrate excellence in leadership, responsible management and ethical practices.

Being shortlisted is a wonderful recognition of our commitment to strong governance, transparency, accountability and organisational excellence.

📅 The Awards Ceremony will take place on 18th November 2026, when the winners will be announced!

We look forward to joining fellow finalists and celebrating the important role that good governance plays across Ireland's nonprofit, public and private sectors.

Sometimes, the greatest gift you can give is simply being there to listen.

🌿 Kilkenny Bereavement Support is looking for Listening Volunteers to offer a compassionate, listening ear to people experiencing grief and loss.

If you are compassionate, caring and interested in supporting people through difficult times, this could be a wonderful opportunity to give back to your community.

What's involved?
🍃 Providing free, confidential, one-to-one bereavement support in central Kilkenny
🍃Giving 1–2 hours a week at a time that suits you
🍃Attending monthly evening group supervision sessions
🍃Taking part in induction and ongoing training

📚 Volunteer Induction Training – November 2026

Saturday 7th | 10 am–12 pm
Tuesday 10th | 7–9 pm
Tuesday 17th | 7–9 pm
Saturday 28th | 10 am–12 pm

📍 Attendance at all four training sessions is required.
