Our live listening party was a beautiful event.

People gathered with us in The Powerhouse to experience and listen to moments from our new podcast Mythic Space. Thanks to everyone who helped us make this happen!

 Mythic Space is a new podcast from Trickster — conversations, extracts and interviews that dig into our relationship with story: how it enchants us, how it confuses us, how it divides us, and how, done well, it can bring us back to each other and to the living world.

As theatre makers, story is the medium we work in every day. This podcast is us turning that same curiosity outward, in conversation with friends, mentors and collaborators including Nancy Mellon, Laurence Scott, Mánchan Magan, Ruth Ben Tovim, Stephen Douglas, Kate McCairt, Lewis Hyde, Lucy O’Hagan, and Dr. Stephan Harding.

The series unfolds weekly in three triptychs. The trailer and prequel are out now wherever you get your podcasts, and Episode One — with the wonderful Nancy Mellon — lands September 11. See you soon!

Wild Turns at Fennelly’s of Callan was such a treat!

A soirée for the local community, friends, neighbours and visitors from far away...

This was a night of exchange and creative reciprocity. We told the story of the enchanted fairy knight Tamlin and the brave Janet who saves him and discovers her own creative spirit along the way. Then, we invited others to take to the stage and share their creative gifts.

We were blown away by the bravery and generosity of those who performed and by the beautiful supportive audience who cheered them along.

We had music and song, poetry and story, jokes and comedy and by the end everyone was up dancing!

It’s a night we won’t forget and we very much look forward to taking Wild Turns far and wide!
