Happy St Patrick's Day!

St. Patrick brought Christianity to Ireland in the 5th century, returning as a missionary after once being enslaved there. He travelled the country teaching, baptizing, and building churches, and is famously said to have used the shamrock to explain the Holy Trinity. His legacy remains a powerful symbol of Irish faith and culture. ☘️

Book of the Month!

One of our volunteers chose this book, 'Destined for Faith (Not Football)' by Matthew Siddle, as our October Book of the Month, and wrote this review:

"This is a short autobiography. Matthew, a football fan in UK, describes the agony of mental illness and psychosis probably induced by alcohol and drugs.
Matthew recounts near the end of his book how he cries out to God in his despair, a moving and true life story of our amazing Jesus who sees and cares."
