Naomh Breandan Credit Union and Sustainable Energy West volunteers are offering a new Cosy Homes Information Service at Loughrea Family Resource Centre on Friday mornings from 10:30am to 12:30pm, starting on Friday 3rd of July.

This free drop-in service will provide practical information and support on household benefits, home energy bills and home energy upgrades, with a particular focus on older people and those receiving social welfare payments.

The service aims to provide people with information they can use to reduce their spending on household energy costs and make their homes warmer and more sustainable.

If you, or someone you know, would find this service helpful, please drop in for a friendly chat with one of the volunteers!

First, a massive THANK YOU to everyone who has dropped off books Our community book exchange is absolutely bursting at the seams with incredible stories, thrilling mysteries, and fantastic reads thanks to your generosity.
✨ We have a quick update:
Right now, our shelves are officially at max capacity! Because we are completely out of room, we can no longer accept any new book donations for the time being. Please hold onto your books for now!
📖 But here is the good news...
Since we are packed to the brim, that means it’s time for some serious reading. Please come by and take a book (or two, or three)! just browse, find something you love, and take it home to enjoy.
