This is a community space that is designed to be a safe place of positivity, celebration and communication. It is for the above reason that our Social Media policy expressly prohibits:
- Trolling (defined by In Internet slang, a troll (/ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/)
is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion, often for their own amusement.
- Hate speech against any marginalized group, including but not limited to, our entire LGBTQIA+ community, people with different ethnic backgrounds, membership of the travelling community, or physical or mental abilities. This includes but not limited to posting arbitrary comments, links or photos on a subject that is not relevant to the trending post. This policy applies to timeline posts, events, photos, videos and third party posts. Anyone who is in breach of this policy will have their comments removed without notice. Continuous breaches of this policy will result in a temporary or permanent banning at the discretion of the page admins.
