Claregalway Tidy Towns

Keeping Claregalway looking its best throughout the summer takes a lot of watering! With more flower displays around the village and the addition of our beautiful hanging baskets this year, getting water to them all had become quite a challenge for our volunteers.

Thanks to a Community Support Grant from Galway County Council, we were able to purchase a specially adapted mobile watering system which has made an enormous difference.

It allows us to carry over 150 litres of water at a time, making it much easier and more efficient to keep our planters and hanging baskets watered throughout the village.

We are very grateful to . Funding like this enables voluntary groups such as Claregalway Tidy Towns to invest in practical equipment that makes a real difference to the work we do in our community.🌷🌸🥀

We also acknowledge Connacht Agri Suppliers who adapted their milk trolley for our needs and were most helpful in getting it to us in time for the watering season 👏👏👏
