What an amazing night we had at Chasing Abbey for our Foroige Leitrim/Kilnadeema group, the kids thoroughly enjoyed every moment. A huge thank you to all the leaders and helpers who made the night possible. It was a great success!

The National Foróige Got Talent Competition will take place in April 2026.

Last year, Galway was proudly represented by:

Both did exceptionally well on the day!

As part of national Youth Night we have invited 6th class students from Kilcooley, Kilnadeema and Leitrim national schools to have a taster evening at Leitrim Foróige. They will join our 1st years tonight for games and pizza🍕

As part of the Foróige Citizenship programme, our members came together to collect donations for COPE Galway. The generosity shown on the night was truly incredible, and thanks to everyone’s kindness, we raised a total of €670, which was donated to COPE this morning. I want to sincerely thank every single person who contributed. Your support is deeply appreciated and especially meaningful at this time of year. Thank you all so much.

Next Friday is Club Night for 2nd and 3rd years! Along with our usual fun and games and collecting envelopes for the disco, we will also be gathering donations for COPE Galway, the charity our group has chosen to support this year.

COPE Galway does incredible work supporting some of the most vulnerable people in our community.

While we would love everyone to get involved, there is absolutely no pressure to purchase anything. However, if you have new and unopened toiletries, homeware, clothing, or other essential items that you would like to contribute, they would be greatly appreciated.

Please take a look at the flyer below for a list of the items COPE has suggested will be most helpful, as well as the times you can drop off contributions.

We had a fantastic Evening at our annual Foróige Quiz Night last night! First-years, second-years, and third-years all came together for an evening full of friendly competition, teamwork, and plenty of laughs.

The energy was amazing, the questions kept everyone on their toes, and the enthusiasm from every year group made the night truly special. It was great to see everyone enjoying themselves and getting involved — definitely one of our most fun quiz nights yet!
