Europa is a society that celebrates all things Eurocentric. We provide a safe place to indulge in passions for ABBA, glitter, lycra and Reggaeton.

Europa Trinity aims to facilitate the discussion, promotion and exploration of European culture, politics, languages, economics and current affairs/issues among the student body of Trinity College Dublin. We host trips, language evenings, political talks and social nights in order to allow our members to explore the idea of what it means to be European in today's rapidly changing society. We adore

🇪🇺 Join us on a visit to the Europa Experience this tuesday! It’ll be an interactive way to learn about the european union, and it’s only a quick 7min walk from campus. The visit itself will last less than an hour, and we’ll be meeting at 16:00. 🌍

‼️AGM ANNOUNCEMENT‼️

Want to run for a place in next year’s EuropaSoc committee? Now’s your chance! We’ll be hosting our AGM this Thursday April 2nd, from 18:00, in room 3051. We hope to see you there!!

📰 Extra Information:

Positions open: Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, Events Officer, Public Relations Officer, Politics Officer, Language and Culture Officer, Ordinary Committee Member (x3)

To run for a position, all you need to do is prepare a quick speech about your motivations and plans for the role (2 minutes max) and show up to the AGM.
Can’t make it in person? No worries, just record your speech and send the video to [email protected] by midnight on 31st March. We will then play your recording at the AGM when you would normally have your speech.
Please Note: You do not need to be a member of the society to run for a position, however, only members are allowed to vote. If you have any questions, send us a dm, email, or pop into any events to ask in person :)

❗️We are delighted to annouce our MEP Spotlight Series!! We will be welcoming different Irish Members of the European Parliament to speak and participate in a Q&A about Ireland’s July 2026 Presidency of the Council of the EU and their work in European Parliament.

Whether you’re interested in politics, Europe in general, Ireland’s role in the EU, want to learn what the EU Presidency actually means, or even just want to talk to an MEP, this is the event for you!

In collaboration with the Politics Society, our first speaker will be the wonderful Cynthia Ní Mhurchú. She is an Irish language advocate and member of the Internal Market and Consumer Protection committee covering digital agenda, and will be discussing the Presidency and her work as an ΜΕΡ. 🇪🇺
