Inclusion, health, and community in action!

On May 18, Special Olympics Armenia / Հայկական հատուկ օլիմպիադաներ hosted the “Athletics for All” sports event and the community forum "Healthy Family", bringing together 60 young athletes, 35 parents, coaches, volunteers, referees, educators, and community leaders.

Together, we celebrated the power of sport to unite families, strengthen support networks, and create opportunities for every athlete to shine. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success! ❤️

What a tournament! Congratulations to Special Olympics France and Racing 92 on the fantastic fourth edition of the Special Olympics International Flag Rugby Tournament. 220 athletes from 26 teams, including Special Olympics España, Special Olympics Georgia, Special Olympics Great Britain and Special Olympics Romania.

Many thanks to the tournament partners: UPS, Sonepar/Sonepar France and the City of Plessis-Robinson for once again showing the power of inclusive sport on the rugby pitch!

It's a wrap on the XIII International Unified Basketball Tournament "Città di Treviso"!

42 teams from 15 countries met on the courts of the La Ghirada sports centre in Treviso, Italy, for two days of thrilling competition. The friendly and electric atmosphere made for an unforgettable event!

Huge congratulations to all basketball players who took up the challenge and to the local team for the impeccable organization.

Another brilliant edition of the Special Olympics Idrætsfestival took place last month! 👏

1,200 athletes, 17 sports, 3 days of competition: the Special Olympics Danmark National Games 2026 brought together athletes from Denmark, the Faroe Islands, Finland, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden from 29 - 31 May in Roskilde, Denmark.

The event also featured a record number of Healthy Athletes screenings, giving more athletes than ever access to free health checks and advice from healthcare professionals.

Foxy the Fox has been unveiled as the official mascot of the Unified Football World Cup Paris 2026! ⚽️🌍

From 6-11 July, athletes from around the world will come together for the third edition of this tournament, with 12 men's and 12 women's teams competing. Players with intellectual disabilities will compete alongside Unified partners without intellectual disabilities, showcasing the power of inclusion through sport.

Foxy is ready to cheer every goal, celebrate every friendship, and remind the world that inclusion is always a winning strategy. ❤️
