Great night tonight
On behalf of Homeless Help and Support Cork, I would like to say a huge, heartfelt thank you to everyone here tonight for your continued support and generosity.
First, to all our amazing volunteers who turn up at the hub every week, thank you for giving your time, energy, and kindness. You welcome every person who walks through our doors with dignity, a smile, and a friendly chat.
Sometimes, it's the little things that make the biggest difference, and that warm welcome can mean so much to someone going through a difficult time.
To all our volunteer cooks, thank you. Without you, we simply couldn't do what we do each week. We appreciate everything you do for us and for the people we serve.
To the businesses who have supported us over the past few years and continue to do so, we are truly grateful.
A special thank you to O'Reillys, Domino's, PepsiCo, Amazon, MP O'Sullivans, Musgraves, Kingsley Hotel, and Consider It Cakes.
Your generosity helps us continue feeding and clothing people every Tuesday and every second Friday night at our hub.
You are helping us do more than provide food and clothing. You are helping us offer kindness, support, dignity, and a sense of belonging to people who need it most.
A special thank you to Donna and her team from Amazon for donating tonight's thank-you gifts.
Thank you to Nemo Rangers Hurling and Football Club for kindly donating the room for tonight's event, and to Wizard Catering for the beautiful food.
Tonight is about recognising the people and businesses who make our work possible. We couldn't do it without you, and we want you to know how much your support means to us.
We hope tonight will be the first of many occasions where we can come together to celebrate what we achieve as a community.
Together, we are making a real difference in people's lives, and we should all be very proud of that.
Now, I would like to invite the representatives from each of the companies here tonight to please join me up here, so we can personally acknowledge you and thank you for your continued support.
Finally, thank you all for standing beside Homeless Help and Support Cork and helping us remind people that they are not alone and that someone cares.
