A Small Step for Nature, A Big Help for Our Bees 🐝
We are delighted to share that veteran Billy Kelly recently took part in supplying a beautiful Bee Post to fellow veteran Paddy Mulley, who has recently created a stunning wildflower meadow in our garden. With nature beginning to thrive, it felt like the perfect place to install something special for our precious pollinators.
Bees are among the most important creatures in our environment. They help pollinate flowers, plants, fruit and vegetables playing a huge role in keeping our ecosystems healthy and our food growing. Sadly, bee numbers have been declining due to habitat loss, pesticides, and fewer natural wildflower spaces.
That’s why projects like this matter. 🌼🐝
A Bee Post helps support solitary bees by providing a safe resting and nesting space. Unlike honeybees, many native Irish bees live alone and quietly go about their work pollinating our countryside. By creating wildflower meadows and adding bee friendly spaces, we are giving nature a helping hand.
A heartfelt thank you to Billy Kelly for his kindness and support, and to Paddy Mulley for helping create a space where wildlife can flourish. Sometimes the smallest acts can make the biggest difference.
Protect the bees, protect the future. 🌿🐝🌼
