What a fantastic World Cup!

…And just as before it began, the world is full of people in sport who are human beings who have a God sized hole in their heart ❤️‍🔥

Scottie Scheffler, Open Champion at Royal Portrush 🏆

Scottie became a 4 time major winner at Portrush and maintained the status as world number 1 but still maintained the stance that golf was not the be-all and end-all.

Scottie would later be quoted that his faith is the top of his priority list showing his priority remains on God at all times.

The Bible says to seek first the kingdom of God and all things will be added to you. For us and Scottie that doesn’t mean that God is a secret formula to success, but it is a reminder that seeking God is success, experiencing him and knowing him is the greatest thing we could ever receive!

Send this to someone to remind them what real success is!

Congratulations to Cliftonville Football Club on winning women’s NIFL Cup Final!

A game that was contested by both great Glentoran and cliftonville teams ended up with Cliftonville having their hands on more silverware!

We have the privilege of serving both woman’s teams with chaplains, as well as many other woman’s teams. We love that normal people can help serve an amazing sporting world!

Our prayer (St Patrick’s Prayer) today for the sports community across our island 💚…

I arise today
Through a mighty strength, the
invocation of the Trinity,
Through belief in the Threeness,
Through confession of the Oneness
of the Creator of creation…

Christ before me,
Christ behind me,
Christ in me,
Christ beneath me,
Christ above me,
Christ on my right,
Christ on my left,
Christ when I lie down,
Christ when I sit down,
Christ when I arise,
Christ in the heart of every man who
thinks of me,
Christ in the mouth of everyone who
speaks of me,
Christ in every eye that sees me,
Christ in every ear that hears me.

What keeps you going through the season?

For Keri Beattie it’s Proverbs 16:3 “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.”
