We’re excited to say that our series -Faces of the Rescue is back! Every Saturday right here on our page, meet some of our volunteers and learn about them. 🐾

Our volunteers are the heart of everything we do. Their time, passion, and love make it possible for us to keep rescuing and caring for animals in need. We truly couldn’t do it without them.

I very stupidly said to someone the other day, 'oh I think we are over the hump and on other side of crazytime'...enter 3 more leverets for Julie. As Leverets are very vulnerable to stress I do the bulk of the handrearing to keep it consistent with a bit of help from our wonderful Mel. 🥰
My last leveret is nearly at freedom age and now I'm back to the start again.....but they are gorgeous.

Otterton is going straight to jail! A crime has been committed. A violent assault on her best friend, Mr. Sealington the third. 😂🥰
Otterton loves to play and having someone you can rough and tumble with is important. Like I said she will soon have company from fellow ottertons in Kildare. 🥰
Today a finder dropped off a poorly gull to us..and gave us some donated salmon for poor gully as they work in a fishing place. How flipping nice is that?????
Now otterton for safety reasons said she must taste test it.Just to be safe you understand. 🥰

So we have been keeping the cutest secret from you all. 🦦🥰 little otterton came into our care over a week ago and is now thriving. We are now starting tasty fishies and it's only the best for otterton. Here she is snacking on some salmon and nearly over 900g now after coming in at around 500g. Thanks to our great friend Dan for his constant advice on otterton. She will eventually go into their care and be in a group up there. 🥰

These two sausages came to us a few days ago after mom never came back whatever happened the poor thing. When the finders became aware of it they jumped into action. They drove all the way from Wexford to whitechurch in what was nearly a 5 hour roundtrip 😮. Unbelievable kindness shown by these people. 🥰
We had a rocky start as one was slow to put on weight but now we have turned a corner and both are gaining weight now and eyes just starting to open.

Our little leveret is continuing to do well thankfully and growing well. Our little cutie loves his milk formula. They are such a beautiful creature, simply stunning. Normally milk formula is syringed in slowely...but leverets have such a strong suckle reflex as its a quick turn around in the wild when mom comes to feed 😂 so they need to get in and get out chugging as much milk as they can when mom visits.

Hopefully few more weeks and will be home 🥰
