These 2 French Bull dogs were dumped near Castlerea and brought to the Roscommon Council Dog Pound. The female recently had pups. the two dogs were rehomed but then were surrendered back to the dog pound. There was little to none interest from the public to give them a home. Frenchie's were very popular once and you would pay a lot of money for them, but now they are not popular and can be difficult to rehome. Anyway we put these 2 in our Charities care and they went straight into a very experienced dog foster for assessment and care. Both do not like cats and both would run after hens and there is a lot of dogs like that and sometimes that can be trained out of them. The 2 dogs are now in our charities kennels in Kerry. the female has to be spayed and the male neutered, they need 2 vacc's three weeks apart, and microchipping. But the good thing is they are really nice dogs and will make great pets. They will be up for adoption once they are fully vaccinated
