Friday, Oct 23rd 8pm
We’re really excited to announce a new creative partnership project with Mermaid County Wicklow Arts Centre to present Ireland’s leading new music group, Crash Ensembe, Everything Is Connected, which will feature Tinahely Women’s Choir. This is part of bold new large-scale project by acclaimed Irish composer Ed Bennett, touring to venues across Ireland in 2026. At its heart, this ambitious work places collaboration, community, and shared experience centre stage, bringing Crash together with local musicians, choirs, and performers in each location.

Commissioned by Crash, Everything Is Connected unfolds as an open, collaborative musical space, where professional performers and community participants make music together. Each concert becomes an expression of connection - between musicians, between communities, and between performers and audiences.

Cruinniú na nÓg, an initiative of CreativeIrl is Ireland's day of free creativity for children.
On June 6th Riona Sally Hartman will present 2 FREE workshops.
Workhops are ideally for 3 to 7 year olds, but all ages are welcome!
11:30am/12:15pm:
Join Ríona while she shares her original Irish-language children’s songs. This informal, interactive workshop is ideally suited to children under seven years old, but all ages are welcome —sing along, learn a fun clapping game in Irish, and come celebrate our beautiful language together!
No Irish? No problem! The songs will be presented in an accessible, inclusive way and the lyrics will be explained in English in a fun, engaging way. Bígí linn!
2pm/3pm
Ríona will take childrenon a song hunt to discover and create music and sounds together from scratch.
We will explore the sounds we can make from all sorts of things; crinkly paper, leaves and twigs and of course our voices! Together, we’ll record the sounds, layering them up on top of each other using a simple loop pedal.
Singing, speaking, humming, whispering... Who knows what kind of songs or soundscapes will emerge from our intrepid, curious, auditory explorations? Dance party or chill out zone - you’ll have to come along and hear for yourself!
All workshops are free but booking is preferred: https://www.courthousearts.ie/
