💙💛 U11 Hurling 💛💙

Carnew U11 boys welcomed Éire Óg Greystones to Carnew on Wednesday evening for an exciting hurling game.

The lads played some superb hurling throughout the match, with some excellent scores taken along the way, showcasing great skill, determination, and teamwork from start to finish. Their never-give-up attitude, fighting spirit, and willingness to work for one another were evident all evening and made for a fantastic contest.

These are a super bunch of lads who represent their club brilliantly on the field, and their hard work and commitment continue to shine through.

Keep up the great work, boys!

Wicklow GAA's Poc Fada 2026 Announced.

The 2026 edition of the Wicklow GAA Poc Fada will take place Sunday 14th June in Ballinakill COE.

The Senior competition begins as 10:00am with the Under 16 following at 10:30 am.

As in previous years the Wicklow GAA Poc Fada winners will represent Wicklow in the Leinster Poc Fada Final.

2026's Leinster Poc Fada Final takes place on Saturday 27th June, at the Nice Stones, Mount Leinster in Co. Carlow.

Wicklow GAA request all players taking part to bring their own spotter.

💙💛 U9 Football 💛💙

Well done to our two U9 football teams yesterday morning, who played two tough games against Tinahely and Aughrim .

The lads played some fantastic football throughout the morning, showing great skill, determination and team spirit in both matches. It was great to see everyone working hard for each other and enjoying the occasion.

A big thank you to Shillelagh Coolboy GAA & LGFA for hosting the blitz and for providing treats and refreshments for all the players afterwards.

💙💛 CROKE PARK 💛💙

Our U9 and U11 boys, along with our U12 girls, travelled to Croke Park today to soak up the atmosphere of the Joe McDonagh Cup Final and the Leinster Senior Hurling Final. There was a wonderful mix of county colours on display, but one thing every child had in common was the huge smile on their face throughout the day! 😄 🤩

From the excitement of walking into the stadium to experiencing the skill, passion and intensity on the field, it was a day that will live long in the memory for all involved. 🤩

Who knows? Maybe one day we'll see some of these boys and girls proudly representing Carnew Emmets on the hallowed turf of Croke Park themselves. 💙💛 🌟 🏑 🏐

A huge thank you to all the coaches and volunteers who organised the trip and helped make it such a special experience for this fantastic group of young players. Your dedication is greatly appreciated. 👏
