Well, what can we say...
it has nearly been a week since Carnew Heritage Day, and what a fantastic success it was!

It truly was an incredible community effort.

The talk of the town has been the spectacular beet harvesting display, the glorious sunshine, and the wonderful craic had by everyone catching up with neighbours and friends. ☀️🚜

A massive THANK YOU goes out to our amazing volunteers, landowners, sponsors, spectators, stallholders, and loyal vintage enthusiasts. A special mention must go to the owners of the beet harvesters, who spent months repairing and preparing their machines for the big day.
Carnew Heritage Club would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who worked so hard to make the event possible. Thank you to our wonderful team of ladies in the tea tent for keeping everyone well-fed, and to Dancing with Declan and his team, alongside Paddy Treacy and Aidan Clerkin, for keeping us all entertained throughout the afternoon. 🎶🕺
A special shout-out also goes to Ballyellis National School and the Men on the Move group for their help with the car parking.

Most importantly, we are thrilled to share that all proceeds from the day will be donated to Carnew Community Care and Friends of Local People with M.S. 🤝❤️

Carnew Heritage Day 2026.
Our 21st Vintage Show.

From the our very first show in 2005, our main aim has always been to promote a vintage show with working displays, allowing vintage enthusiasts to demonstrate/ exhibit their pride and joy.

We are all volunteers who come together each year to organise this popular vintage show.

*Please be patient with our stewards as we try our best to run the best show we can*

Come along to Carnew Heritage Day 2026 and do some of the following,

Be in the moment and soak up the show day atmosphere
Observe the many demonstrations by vintage enthusiasts
Meet neighbours and friends for a chat
Admire the many finely restored vintage cars and tractors
Browse the trade stalls and local business stands
Drink tea with family and friends
Listen and dance to the wonderful music

And above all else….. enjoy the day 😎

We would like to announce our chosen charities for 2026.

Friends of Local People with MS

Is a dedicated volunteer group committed to supporting and enhancing the quality of life for individuals in our community living with MS.

Carnew Community Care

Carnew Community Care Centre comprises 28 housing units and a Day Centre which provides services to over 150 older people in Community Village, Carnew town and surrounding area.
The centre also runs meals on wheels, 5 days a week to the south Wicklow area.

Please come along and support our vintage day.

Gates Open to the public at 12noon.
Adm: Adults €10.
