10 idea owners. 3 months. €0 cost. One goal: turning a social or environmental idea into a viable business.

Many people have strong ideas for solving social problems, but lack the business experience to turn those ideas into sustainable ventures. That’s where the new programme from Impact Hub Budapest and OTP Bank comes in.

Over three months, the selected participants will receive:

• 8 group training sessions
• 6 individual mentoring sessions
• A dedicated mentor from OTP Bank
• Support in developing their Social Business Model Canvas
• Access to an entrepreneurial community and coworking space
• The chance to pitch their idea at the final Pitch Day

The programme is free and open to nonprofits, informal teams, and individuals with an early-stage social enterprise idea.

🇬🇪 Batumi became an international meeting point for the future of vocational education.

The III International Conference of Vocational Education Teachers brought together Georgian ministries, public and private colleges, universities, employers and invited experts from Germany, France, Italy and Hungary.

The conference opened with addresses by Givi Mikanadze, Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia; Maia Khajishvili, Minister of Education and Sports of Adjara; and Ketevan Kobakhidze, Deputy Director of Georgia’s National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement.

A particularly encouraging message was Georgia’s commitment to the professional development of VET teachers. The Ministry highlighted increased investment in vocational education and a stronger focus on internationalisation, enabling teachers to participate in study visits abroad and Georgian institutions to host international experts for in-country masterclasses and training. Across the programme, participants moved from policy to practice, exploring labour-market trends, AI, drones and microelectronics, the green economy, soft skills, innovative teaching practices and the changing role of VET teachers.

We are proud to have brought the perspectives, experience and diversity of Hungary and the wider European VET community into this exchange, and equally glad to return with new insights from Georgia.

Thank you to Black Sea College and New Wave College for the invitation and for creating this valuable platform for international exchange. We return from Batumi with new connections and new possibilities for cooperation.

At the III International Conference of Vocational Education Teachers in Batumi, Lorenzo Lanciotti shared MeOut Group’s perspective on how international mobility and work-based learning can support soft skills development.

Innovation moves fast. How can vocational education keep up?

Today in Batumi, Janka Sándor-Fazakas represented MeOut Group at the III International Conference of Vocational Education Teachers with a presentation on building future careers through innovation in VET.

Her starting point was simple: innovation often changes professional tasks long before it creates new job titles. Learners therefore need opportunities to apply new technologies in real professional situations, while international projects can help create and test new learning paths by connecting education with employers and other key partners.

A great first day of knowledge-sharing and international connections in Georgia.

The second edition of brought together 100+ founders, investors, entrepreneurs and ecosystem builders for an evening of new faces, spontaneous conversations and unexpected connections.

No set script, just an open space to meet, exchange ideas, discover common ground and see where conversations lead.

That’s what we love about building communities at MeOut Group: creating spaces where connections happen naturally and new opportunities can start from a simple conversation.
