💛 Relationships Really Matter – Parent & Carer Free Four-session online group 💛

Parenting together or apart can sometimes bring disagreements and challenges. Relationships Really Matter is a supportive course offering practical tips and resources to help parents and carers better understand conflict, strengthen communication and build more positive family relationships. 🗣️🤝

Over 4 sessions, the group will explore:

💬 Session 1 – What are disagreements and arguments?
Explore different types and causes of disagreements, and understand the impact conflict can have on children.
🔍 Session 2 – What are the triggers of disagreements?
Learn about relationship stages, common conflict triggers and different communication styles.
🤝 Session 3 – How to communicate and negotiate effectively
Develop practical skills to support positive communication and negotiation, helping to improve family relationships.
🌱 Session 4 – What’s next?
Reflect on the programme and explore self-care, support networks and positive next steps.

❓Would you like to know what to do if a member of your family or a friend stopped breathing?
Provided by the Royal Life Saving Society, the ‘Save a Baby’s Life’ workshops aim to teach basic emergency skills to anyone who cares for a baby.
You will learn:
• Infant Basic Life Support (CPR)
• How to manage an infant who is choking
• Prevention and treatment of drowning in infants

💉 Free NHS flu vaccinations for school-aged children are now underway!

This year, the School-Aged Immunisation Service has introduced a new consent system. Parents and carers will receive a text message and email directly, asking them to provide consent for their child’s vaccination. 📱📧

This digital system has helped improve vaccination uptake in other areas. As it is new, we understand that some parents and carers may have questions or experience difficulties using it.
