The beloved toys are making a comeback in Disney and Pixar’s “Toy Story 5,” and this time it's a clash of Toy and Tech. Buzz, Woody, Jessie, and the rest of the crew face increased challenges as they confront a brand-new threat to their playtime.

Toy Story 5 is set to release exclusively in cinemas on June 19, with exclusive previews available today, June 18, at both Vue and Odeon in Worcester!

The Worcester Pear Trail is coming to Worcester this summer!

Launching this July, created in partnership between Worcester BID and Visit Worcestershire, families and visitors are invited to start their story through time as they explore Worcester's rich heritage through 10 heritage-themed pear sculptures, each inspired by a different chapter of the city's history.

Alongside the trail, look out for beautiful pear blossom window art across the city centre and community art installations created by local pupils, all helping to bring Worcester's heritage to life.

Worcester City Council has agreed the design principles for its investment into Angel Place as part of its ongoing regeneration programme for that part of the city centre.

Worcester BID is delighted to be a delivery partner, working alongside Worcester City Council, Scala Worcester Arts Centre, Starburst, owners of Friary Walk Worcester, and Play Worcester to help develop a shared vision for Angel Place as a vibrant, safe and flexible outdoor destination.

The proposed transformation forms part of the wider regeneration of this area of the city centre, creating opportunities for a diverse programme of performances, creative experiences and activities throughout the year with the aim to increase footfall, encourage longer visits to the city centre and support the wider local economy.

Cycling into Worcester city centre is now even more convenient, with the introduction of new secure bike lockers at The Arches, opposite Foregate Street station. The lockers provide a safe and practical solution for commuters, shoppers and visitors looking to store their bikes and belongings while they spend time in the city.

Operated by Bikedok, the enclosed lockers offer individual secure storage for bikes, along with space for helmets and bags. The service is accessed via a mobile app, allowing users to book and pre-book spaces, check availability in real time, and access lockers without the need for keys or personal locks.

Lockers are available for both standard and cargo bikes at the same price, starting from 45p per hour, with discounted options for longer stays. The initiative supports Worcester’s wider ambition to encourage active travel, helping to make cycling a more practical and attractive option for getting into the city centre.
