What a great day at today! Lots of fantastic presentations and talks, great networking and seeing what Deaf services and businesses have to offer.

Our committee members went along to explore lots of exciting opportunities for our charity and build relationships with the Deaf community. We bumped into lots of friends along the way too!

We have been notified about this fantastic local event coming up soon for families, they have booked a BSL Interpreter. Do have a look at the below information -

Mayall Comedy Festival takes place in Droitwich Spa from Friday 29th May until Saturday 6th June.

On Saturday 6th June we have a special show for families which will have a British Sign Language interpreter.

Tribe Theatre, a local community youth theatre group, will be performing 'A Tribe Theatre Showcase Goes Wrong'. The show takes place at Droitwich Spa Community Hall at 2pm. This is a free event (booking fee applies) and tickets can be booked via the Rik Mayall Comedy Festival website

A young theatre company sets out to create the perfect summer showcase… but theatre has other plans. (Please do not exchange tickets yourself for this event as we need to know the exact number of attendees - we are limited to 40 in the pool and we currently have all the spaces taken).

Join us for a Pool Party for our April event! Sunday 19th April 3.15pm

We have booked the full pool from 3.30pm - 4.15pm and then the side room 4.30pm - 5pm for refreshments after our party.

Please arrive at 3.15pm to allow time to change. The pool is a heated pool - half of the pool will have a small inflatable obstacle course (deep end) and the other half of the pool will have floats and balls to play with (shallow end).
This activity is from ages 0+ so open to all - Children, siblings and parents!
Lifeguards are on hand and floating vests are available for non swimmers to access the inflatable, adults are not allowed on the inflatable but can be in the water next to it. (There is no obligation to go on the inflatable - there is plenty of fun to be had in the pool itself and we have the pool exclusively for our group).

Please note the following rules-
There is no beach area (there are photos on their website)
All non swimmers must have an adult
All children under 8 must have an adult whether they can swim or not
You are responsible for your own children at all times including in the changing rooms (Changing rooms are mainly communal)
Each adult can have a maximum of 2-3 children
You must enter your registration plate on arrival to avoid car parking charges

Please let us know how many members of your family will be getting into the pool on the comments section when purchasing a ticket as we have a limit to numbers allowed in the pool. If you decide not to attend on the day then please let us know as we may have awaiting list.

We are very excited to be hosting this fun event for everyone - there is a limit to numbers in the pool so tickets will be allocated on a first come basis. We will swim and splash for 45 mins then get changed and have a snack in the side room before leaving at 5pm.

Tickets are £10 per family (however if this is a barrier to your attendance please do email us separately).
