They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning

We will remember them

A Heartfelt Thank You

Today marks a moment we thought might never come. Our cherished memorial is finally receiving the attention it deserves, with new fencing being installed just in time for Remembrance Sunday. This would not have been possible without the incredible commitment of our local residents. A special thank you to Daren Lacey, who has been an unwavering advocate, leading the charge and ensuring this project came to life.

The green light was given only four weeks ago by the Parish Council and Daren didn’t waste a moment—he immediately reached out to a wonderful company to make this happen. They’ve been working tirelessly, from moulding to galvanizing and everything in between, to bring this vision to reality.

Our deepest gratitude to Daren and Vittoria for their dedication and hard work. Your commitment to our community and this meaningful project is truly admirable. Thank you for helping us honor our memorial in such a beautiful way.

Our Poppy Appeal is officially live. You will see poppy boxes all around the village. Please donate if you can. Thank you to all of the volunteers who have made beautiful displays around the village.

Our volunteers along with Catshill and North Marlbrook Parish Council are working extremely hard to ensure the memorial is in tip top shape ahead of remembrance Sunday 10th November. If you see them down there give them a wave.

We would like to take a moment to thank our dear friend Mike, for his hard work and dedication to the poppy appeal since he was a young lad and served our country, the stories he told were really thought provoking, unfortunately Mike passed away earlier this year, but his wife Margaret will continue to support

Weve also attached some old photos of our beloved memorial
