A few weeks ago we teased that we had lots of good news to share

Well here is the first of that good news!!

We are growing and to support us on this journey, we are delighted to welcome the newest members of our board!!

Claire Simpson has been appointed as our Chair of Board

Leah Crowfoot is stepping into the role of Treasurer - following in the formidable footsteps of Helen Kenny

And Leanne McDonald, Rachael Matthews and Saira Rashid are joining us as Trustees, acknowledging their professional experience, lived experience and/or passion for ending period poverty

On 11th September, we’re taking over South Staffs Golf Club for an evening of food, entertainment, period-themed fun, a quiz, raffle prizes and probably more conversations about periods than you’ve ever had on a night out!

Because while period poverty is serious, talking about periods doesn’t always have to be

Grab your friends. Get a team together. Come and have some fun

But period poverty means people are having to prioritise essentials and go without the products they need every single month

Phew!! The end of a busy week!!

We held our final Schools Out, Drop In session on Wednesday, and distributed free period packs to more than 30 women, girls and families.

We also introduced lots of individuals to reusable period products courtesy of Hey Girls ❤️

Wednesday was also our AGM when we welcomed several new trustees to our Board

More on that soon

We also received some very exciting news!!

All will be revealed next week...
