Oakley is on tour—and he needs your support!

On Relay Day, Oakley the bear will be travelling around the county back to The Royal Oak in Wolverhampton, carried by an amazing team of bikers, cyclists, walkers and runners—all to raise vital funds for Midland Freewheelers Blood Bikes.

This incredible volunteer service delivers blood, samples and more for the NHS, 365 days a year, entirely for free. They rely on donations to keep going—and that’s where you come in!

The Royal Oak, Chapel Ash, is more than just a pub—it’s a pillar of the community. For years, we’ve been a place where people come together for match days, live music, charity fundraisers, and unforgettable moments with friends and family.

Why We’re Fundraising
We’ve faced a major challenge. Over time, we have lost FIVE marquees at great expense, and we simply can’t keep replacing them. To survive and grow, we now need a semi-permanent outdoor space that will allow us to continue serving our community year-round.

This covered, heated space will feature TVs for match days, a stage for live entertainment, and plenty of seating—ensuring The Oak remains a thriving, welcoming hub for years to come.
