Keep a lookout the next couple of days for pictures & more information. One could be the hound you have been waiting for!

Late afternoon we had a phone call from our local vet who needed a greyhound as a blood donor for a dog undergoing an operation.
Hugo gave his blood to save the dogs life but unfortunately suffered a rupture in his vein that had to be treated.
He is absolutely fine and another greyhound hero

Paanga one of our many recently homed hounds enjoying life in his new home.
Although looking at pics - doing what greyhounds do! The carpet is more comfortable than the wooden floor and thinking he can't be bothered to go outside!

Volunteers needed - dates for your diaries.

21st Nov (Saturday) - we will be at Boundary Mill for a Christmas awareness event. This was very successful a couple of wks ago and we are hoping we can have another good day.

26th December (Boxing day) - we will be at Monmore Green showing what good pets retired greyhounds make with a tombola. You'll be fed up of Christmas by then so what not come along and look after one of the hounds.

We will be sending an email to all registered volunteers aswell but just giving you all notice of the dates. Thanks in anticipation.

Today Maise went for a day out with volunteer, Jo. They visited Macarthur Glen outlet and a nearby nature reserve..
She walked beautifully and met Henry the Frenchie. She likes small dogs and also larger ones including a husky.
In Molton Brown she was given a treat and was made very welcome in the store. She was a little nervous around small children.
She did well on stairs and visited Jo's mom where she behaved perfectly in the house.
She is a cuddly and sweet girl who travels well in the car and just lies down to enjoy the ride.
If you are interested in her or any of our other greyhounds, please contact the kennels for an appointment to meet them.
