The Ollie Young Foundation is a UK registered charity which funds targeted paediatric brain tumour research and support and is run entirely by volunteers.

🏁 2,852 miles, 4 countries and £2,501.25 raised! 🏁

A huge thank you to George Anderson and Jake Stacey for taking on the Cornwall Banger Rally Challenge and raising an incredible £2,501.25 for the Ollie Young Foundation! 💙

What an adventure they’ve had! From early mornings and late nights to plenty of unexpected antics along the way, their trusty zebra-print VW Passat took them on an incredible 2,852-mile journey across four countries – and didn’t let them down once! 🦓🚗

Along the way, they’ve enjoyed some incredible scenery, met some great people and even stopped to lend a helping hand where needed.

From everyone at the Ollie Young Foundation, thank you both for your support, your fundraising and for choosing to support our foundation. We really do appreciate it. 💙

💙 MEET THE COMMITTEE – MAXINE! 💙

How did I end up on the Ollie Young Foundation committee? Well… it all started with a conversation with Sarah and Simon about “It’s a Knockout”.

I thought they were talking about a football tournament. ⚽😂

Turns out… it wasn't quite what I had imagined, but that conversation was the start of my journey with the Foundation!

These days, you’ll find me in a few different places:

🩹 Doing first aid at the annual football tournament
☀️ Sweltering at the Summer Fun Day
💻 Helping behind the scenes with the Foundation’s social media
🥾 And I’ve even walked from London to Brighton to raise awareness for the Foundation!

I love being involved in all the different things we do, but one of the things I'm particularly passionate about is helping to tell the story of the Foundation, our amazing supporters and the work we do in Ollie's memory. 💙

And as I’m one of the people who helps keep our social media ticking along, I have a little request…

If you have an idea for a post, something you think we should be shouting about, or something you think we've missed - PLEASE tell me! 😂
